Scope
This policy covers refunds and cancellations related to:
- Services engagements with Kodetra Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
- Sponsorship and partnership commitments
- Newsletter-related transactions (should any paid offerings be added)
It does not cover our products — QuickAutoReply, Linq List, ContentBuffer, Codebrinery, and WatchLayer each have their own refund policies on their own sites.
Services engagements
Refund terms for services are specified in the signed Scope of Work (SOW) for each engagement. In the absence of specific SOW terms:
Before work begins:
- Full refund of any deposit paid, minus documented expenses incurred (if any) in preparing the SOW or scoping.
- Refund issued within 15 working days of the cancellation notice.
After work has begun:
- No refund for work already completed and delivered per the SOW.
- For time-and-materials engagements: you pay for hours worked up to the cancellation date. Any unused retainer or prepaid amount is refunded within 15 working days.
- For fixed-price engagements: work delivered is invoiced pro-rata based on documented progress against the SOW milestones.
Our right to refund:
- If we fail to deliver per the SOW and cannot cure within a reasonable cure period (typically 30 days after written notice), you may cancel and receive a pro-rated refund for undelivered work.
Sponsorship and partnership commitments
Newsletter sponsorship:
- Before a confirmed placement ships: 50% refund for cancellations 7 or more days before the scheduled publish date; no refund for cancellations within 7 days. The remaining 50% is retained to cover editorial time and opportunity cost of blocking the slot.
- If we fail to deliver a placement due to our fault (e.g., we don't publish the issue, or the placement is not as agreed): full refund.
Website advertising placements:
- Monthly placements can be cancelled with 15 days' notice; we pro-rate the refund.
- Quarterly and annual placements have their own terms specified in the agreement.
Strategic partnerships:
- Refund terms, if any, are specified in the partnership agreement.
Investor conversations
Investor discussions are informational and do not involve payment or fees. No refund terms apply.
How to request a refund
Email info@kodetra.com with:
- Your name and organization
- The engagement or placement in question (with reference number if known)
- Reason for cancellation
- Preferred refund method (original payment method, bank transfer, etc.)
We'll respond within 5 working days and process eligible refunds within 15 working days of our confirmation. Refunds are issued in the original payment currency and method where possible.
Disputes
If you believe a refund has been wrongly denied or delayed, you can escalate via our Grievance Redressal process.
